How Does it Work?
Assessment
Together we will conduct a thorough assessment of your pet’s behaviour, taking into account their medical history, learning history, environment, and specific challenges. This helps us gain a deep understanding of your pet’s unique needs and enables us to identify the underlying cause.
Note: Some behavioural challenges have underlying medical causes and may require an evaluation from their veterinarian or a veterinary behaviourist.
Customized Plan
Based on the assessment, we will develop a behaviour modification plan tailored to address your pet’s specific challenges. Our plan incorporates management, marker based training, teaching foundation skills, and practical, evidence-based strategies to promote positive change. I prioritize your pet’s well-being and work towards achieving long-term success.
Each session includes a detailed report catered to your pets needs, a copy will also be sent to your veterinarian. Reports also include handouts and videos.
Follow Up Sessions
Follow up sessions are essential for success as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to behaviour modification. Follow up sessions gives us a chance to test techniques, troubleshoot, and adjust the plan as real-life challenges show up.
